Our executive committee lead the Gender Inclusion Network (GIN), and aim to create an insurance industry that is inclusive for all, regardless of gender. The executive committee define the direction of GIN and help challenge the insurance industry to become more open and inclusive for all.
Meet the committee
Jane Harley, Lloyd’s
Jane works for Lloyd’s for Lloyd’s within the Delegated Authority world managing ongoing oversight of Lloyd’s coverholders. Outside of work, Jane loves spending time with her family and friends, often travelling back to her native Glasgow. Growing up in Scotland, Jane is keen to ensure all of our good work on diversity is shared across the UK and globally. GIN is a great way to bringing together like minded individuals in the industry to influence a change and work together to embed this change.
Frederica Moore, WTW
Frederica works for WTW in their Private Equity team following completing their graduate programme. She enjoys working in diverse teams and is passionate about working towards increasing diversity across the insurance industry and creating an inclusive culture regardless of gender. She hopes that GIN contributes to achieving gender balance through its insightful events, initiatives and bringing the industry together.

Juliet Drake, Compre
Juliet works for Compre as the Lloyd’s Oversight Manager. Juliet believes that to achieve gender equality we need to involve everyone and therefore GIN is a fantastic way of sharing knowledge, providing a network outside of your own company and driving change in the industry. Outside of work she plays and watches a lot of sport and loves travelling to new places and experiencing new cultures.

Charlotte Kleeman, Optio
Charlotte (she/her) works in the Compliance Team at Optio Group Limited supporting the business with financial crime compliance. Outside of her role in the Compliance Team she sits on the ESG committee at Optio and on the Associate Board of the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation, which allows her to contribute to GIN’s collaborative approach to advance inclusive policies, awareness initiatives, and community-building efforts that support all gender identities. Passionate about intersectionality and allyship, Charlotte is committed to fostering a culture of belonging and driving positive change both within the Network and beyond.

Jaycee Rigden, Lloyd’s
Jaycee is a business degree apprentice at Lloyd’s, gaining wide exposure as she rotates around the business functions every six months. As a young woman starting her career, Jaycee hopes to inspire other young females to go for their dreams, be themselves and speak up. Jaycee is passionate about advocating for gender inclusivity within insurance and looks to find creative ways to engage existing and potential talent. While also being co-chair of the Gender Network at Lloyd’s, she hopes to drive the agenda of harnessing a gender inclusive market.

Becs Smith, Lloyd’s
Becs is an Employee Communications & Engagement Manager at Lloyd’s, helping colleagues to understand our business, bringing stories to life and connecting individuals. She’s keen to bring everyone along on the diversity and inclusion journey and is a massive social media fan, so considering she works on our various channels, we’re in safe hands. As a mum of two young boys, she’s also passionate about flexible working and champions being able to juggle having a career and a family.
