Our Executive committee

Our executive committee lead the Gender Inclusion Network (GIN), and aim to create an insurance industry that is inclusive for all, regardless of gender. The executive committee define the direction of GIN and help challenge the insurance industry to become more open and inclusive for all.

Co-chair

Jane Harley, Lloyd’s

Jane works for Lloyd’s for Lloyd’s within the Delegated Authority world managing ongoing oversight of Lloyd’s coverholders. Outside of work, Jane loves spending time with her family and friends, often travelling back to her native Glasgow. Growing up in Scotland, Jane is keen to ensure all of our good work on diversity is shared across the UK and globally. GIN is a great way to bringing together like minded individuals in the industry to influence a change and work together to embed this change.

Taylor McTaggart, Zurich

Taylor works at Zurich Insurance as a Senior Continuous Improvement Consultant, facilitating change and driving improvements for their employees and customers.

Taylor has joined GIN as she is passionate about driving change throughout the industry to support us in achieving gender balance & creating an environment in which everyone can be their true selves at work.

Communications & social media lead

Katie Baines, Lloyd’s

Katie works as a communications manager for Lloyd’s within the Future@Lloyd’s team. Katie is always looking for new and creative ways to drive positive engagement and efficiently communicate with people. Katie believes that by promoting the value that women can bring to organisations, we can work towards a more inclusive working culture which is better for society and businesses alike. She’s really proud to be a GIN committee member and help drive this agenda forward through engaging communications and social media activities.

Juliet Drake, Compre

Juliet works for Compre as the Lloyd’s Oversight Manager. Juliet believes that to achieve gender equality we need to involve everyone and therefore GIN is a fantastic way of sharing knowledge, providing a network outside of your own company and driving change in the industry. Outside of work she plays and watches a lot of sport and loves travelling to new places and experiencing new cultures.

Sharon Glynn, Travelers

Sharon works at Travelers as a senior development underwriter in our bond and specialty insurance team, and is the co-chair of the Traveler’s European Diversity and Inclusion Network. Sharon believes we should seek out ways to ensure that differences are acknowledged and celebrated and everyone should have equal opportunity. Outside work she enjoys spending time with friends and family, seeking out new experiences and visiting new places.

Aditi Kochhar, Lloyd’s

Aditi’s role at Lloyd’s is within the Internal Audit team. Aditi brings her experience of her day to day job to GIN. She have a strong interest in raising the profile of women, supporting women to develop to their full potential and educating society about the barriers women face in the workplace.

Jacqui Lloyd, QBE Insurance

Jacqui works in the Global Network Team at QBE managing our Servicing Office relationships in Europe. She also sit on the committee for QBE Circle the network for Inclusion. Jacqui is a member of The Fawcett Society and a mother of two young daughters. Jacqui has joined GIN to help contribute to a more diverse and inclusive workplace for everyone, to improve now and help change the future professional environment.

Laura Wright, Zurich Insurance

Laura works for Zurich Insurance as People & Change lead for UK Claims and has 20 years’ experience in the Insurance industry. In her current role she leads the Claims D&I council and is the UK local ambassador for NEXT, a movement that is creating a platform for intergenerational dialogue and providing a space for the younger generations to have a voice.

Laura is passionate about all aspects of Diversity & Inclusion and wants to drive positive change across the industry where everyone can be their true self. Laura is delighted to join GIN and work to drive positive change. She is passionate about personal development and helping others to develop and grow and achieve their professional and personal ambitions.
